MERRY X-MAS AND BEST WISHES FOR 2002!!!

Anything is possible with the Hong Kong cinema, the worst and the best, anything you've never imagined. It is not to be taken as a realistic cinema but as a cinema that allows an escape, to only come back to another kind of reality. Please read our Commitment as well.

-Today's update-
legend of ZuTime and Tide

Update 20/12/2001 : As a new webmaster, I decided to let people enjoy reviews about a vast spectrum of genres and to show most of the time exclusive pictures. In today's update, there is a double bill of the King of HK, Tsui Hark. Here are two unofficial WebPages from his last brilliant features: Legend of Zu and Time and Tide. You'll find with a double click only interesting reviews and interviews but also links and tons of pictures. Bingo Bunny!

And don't forget our previous updates:

  • Hong Kong Extreme (category 3 and gore. WARNING: Some texts may deal with adult material)

  • Johnnie To (Action thrillers and romantic dramas, it's his fault!)

  • Hui Brothers (a bunch of hilarious bros. from the 70's and 80's)

  • Anita Yuen (One of the best young actress in HK)

Coming soon in HKCM
Don't miss our next update in a fortnight:

  • Exclusive interview with actor and Rock star Wu Bai about Time and Tide

  • The best of the year 2001, i.e. movies, DVD, newcomers and singers you shouldn't have missed

AND MANY MORE…

Our Comittement
I came back to France after a couple of years in the UK and proposed the HK Cinemagic original creator and Webmaster to take care of the English version. He did agree and here we go. My name is Thomas and I am the new webmaster for the English version of HKCinemagic. As a new webmaster, I decided to let people enjoy reviews about a vast spectrum of genres and to show most of the time exclusive pictures. That is on a pretty regular basis since I plan to give you updates every about fortnight!
We have tried to offer  news and reviews as personal as possible and written by Far-East cinema fans who want to share their passion. The choice of issues dealt with are therefore ours and news is based on the basis of what important events for us have happened in the HK movie world. In the next lines you are about to read we are dealing with the entertainment and artistic aspect of this particular cinema. It cannot just be summed up by violence or Kung Fu topics but it contains as well nowadays HK people fears and hopes.
Have fun and enjoy!
Thomas.
