Nothing to Lose, 2002, 90 min
Singapour / Thailande / Hong Kong
by Danny Pang, with Pierre Ng, Fresh, Yvonne Lim, Niponth Chaisirikul

The film is about two young men who are driven into a corner and plan to finish their lives at full speed. Oak Lee is about to jump from a building because he can not pay his gambling debts, but suddenly realises that there is someone next to him. It is Gogo, who also wants to commit suicide. She had just killed her cheating Lesbian lover. Oak Lee persuades Gogo not to kill herself, and invites her to dinner. The two young people decide to go on a trip. They steal a fancy sports car, rob a convenience store, and head for the casino, all the while pursued by the mob and the police. Once again, they find themselves on top of the building and just as the title suggests, they indeed have nothing to lose. Should they to die as failures or leave a lasting impression...

Born in Hong Kong in 1965, Danny Pang began his career at TVB as a camera operator in 1988. In 1999, he made his directorial debut feature Bangkok Dangerous with his brother Oxide Pang, winning from the Thailand Film Critics Association a total of six major awards. Nothing to Lose is Danny's first solo directorial work.
