The Story

While Asia, a warlord allied with Japanese, extended its domination on China, Ling and Kiddo went toward the inn of highlanders, where they had a rendez-vous with their brothers-in-arms and with Ying, the daughter of Wu, the boss of highlanders. They agreed about this one year ago due to the fights between martial arts schools for the Sacred Scroll. During this meet, Ling and Ying had become friend.

But one day before the rendez-vous, Ying is attacked in the inn by Japanese ninjas. It should be said that the daughter of Wu, the brother and enemy of Asia, constitutes a threat for him. Where Ling arrived to the inn, he discovered the dead men. His brothers-in-arms, arrived after the battle, said him that they didn't see Ying.

The members of the school of the mountain Wa wanted to withdraw themselves in the mountains of Ox to live in peace. But Ling wanted to find Ying. He went alone, leaving his brothers. On the path he met a strange woman with whom he shared good wine. Actually, she is Asia. In possession of the Sacred Scroll, Asia followed the teaching of the parchment to become invincible. So he were emasculated and he was changing little by little into woman.

After this meeting, Ling met his brothers who had decided to follow him for a last mission. During the night, Zen, a servant of Wu led them to Ying. She explained to Ling why her father disappeared and she wanted to find him again. Ling agreed to follow Zen, in search of the Asia castle, to try to find Wu.

There Ling met Asia that he recognized as the girl he had met on the road. Together they drank, Ling wishing that this disturbed world would be more quite. But the men of Asia found them and Asia stroke Ling. When he woke up, he was prisoner and his neighbor was Wu. Ling managed to save Wu who wanted him to defeat Asia. In front of his refusal, Wu wanted to destroy his martial capacities. Ling decided to go far away.

Ling went and saw Asia. He was completely transformed into woman and he asked Cici, his mistress, to replace him. Thus while Ling made love with Cici, Asia fought Wu. Asia killed the Ling's brothers- in-arms because they wanted to have revenge for the Blue Phoenix death, the faithful maidservant of Ying.

So Ling decided to help Wu to kill Asia. With Kiddo, Ying and Zen, they went together fight their common enemy. There Ling discovered that Asia was the woman with whom he thought to have spend the night. He was a little disturbed. But the fight began. Asia didn't protect himself, thinking that Ling would not dare to wound it. But Ling killed Asia.

Wu would be as despotic as Asia. Ying told Ling and Kiddo that they are on the black list...They had to be killed. So they left away. On the shore Ying was once time more alone, looking Ling go away, a quadrant in the hand. The song Hero Of Heroes was the last link between them.
